Each of our courses have been developed to assist community groups, charities and community members reach their potential.

Courses can be provided at client premises or at an external training room.

Listening Conversations Course

This one day course introduces participants to:-

  • An understanding of the importance of listening to community members

  • The difference between listening to a community and sharing your plans for a community 

  • How to create a listening conversation

  • Practical steps to carrying out a listening conversation

Reaching Your Goals Course

This course is made up of six, three hour sessions.

The course is aimed at gaining an understanding of how to set a goal whether that's a personal, project or organisational goal. It supports participants work towards their goal(s) and providing them with the tools to create and work on future goals after the course is complete.

Session  1 -  The Power of Goal Setting

Session  2 -  Steps To Achieving Your Goal 

Session  3 -  Overcoming Barriers And Setbacks

Session  4 -  Building Your Goal Commitment (Part 1)

Session  5 -  Building Your Goal Commitment (Part 2)

Session  6 -  Realising Your Goal 

Please note there is a two week gap between session 4 and 5 and 4 weeks between session 5 and 6 to allow participants to work on their goal.

Personal Safety In The Community Course

This is a 3 hour training session providing basic information on how to stay safe when working in community settings. It is suitable for people new to working out and about in a community setting or as a refresher..

Areas covered include: understanding the need for personal safety

  • walking through a community

  • holding conversations in a community setting

  • running community groups and events

  • keeping community members safe

  • setting boundaries

  • reporting concerns

​
